we have received several inquiries from students regarding M365, WiFi useage and e-learning. Many students cannot find their M365 username and password. Now we summarize the most important information and launch an M365 account verification campaign, which aims to at the end, all our students can use their university M365 account.
How can I get a student account?
At the beginning of the semester, based on Neptun data, UNI IT automatically creates M365 account and student e-mail address for students of University of Miskolc who has active status. Login information is sent to the e-mail address provided in Neptun. The format of the student e-mail address is x.y@student.uni-miskolc.hu. The services of M365 can be accessed with this e-mail address and the associated password. It is important that your private e-mail address must be set in the Neptun system.
What to do if I already use my M365 account?
If you already have Uni Miskolc student M365 account, please log in at https://www.office.com/?auth=2 by Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at 11:59 p.m.
For those who will not be logged in to M365 between 11.09.2023. and 03.10.2023., we will set a new password for it and send it to the secondary e-mail address provided in Neptun by 10.05.2023.

How can I use the university WiFi?
The ME-Student Wi-Fi network is available at whole Campus. We recommend the useage of this network for our students. To connect, you need your M365 username and password.
eduRoam and eduID
Login to eduID and eduRoam is currently available with a different username and password, but we have set it so that the username is the same as the M365 username, and the initial password is also the same.
